I have three quick questions, so I thought that I would ask those that matter:
1. What do you like to see most in a multiplayer server?
2. When you log into a server, what gets your interest to make you stay and play?
3. Once you have played for a little, what keeps you there for the long haul?
Thanks for your feedback.

What keeps the players mostly is a 24/7 server.. Which would mean you would want to go for a minecraft server host..
I'm looking for a small (around 50-75) SMP server with factions and PVP enabled. I want to feel immersed in a dangerous world full of thieves and murderers. That's why I play SMP.
When I log onto a server and see a huge tangled mess of ugly tunnels, low ceilings, and a crap load of signs everywhere, I usually press esc and disconnect. I want to be able to get on, already know what to expect, and then immedietly be able to venture out and begin.
If the admins are 9 year old douchebags who are crazy with power, I leave. If it lags too much, I leave. If the people are generally uninteresting and annoying, I leave. I'm just looking for an experience that me and my 2 friends can enjoy together.
