Ram keeps rising

My games memory keeps rising. So essentially what happened was I downloaded a sketchy mod and it started causing problems to ram. I deleted it and went through 2 fullscans of it (One with malwarebytes and another with mcaffe) and it just keeps getting higher. It went from 5000 MB yesterday to 7168 MB today. Can anyone help me?

Check and see if your Jvm arguments are set correctly.

Btw its normally at 2 gigs with the mods but when I downloaded that mod it went double that.
