RAM usage questions

so i have 2048mb of RAM in my server plugins take up to 24%. just came here to ask how many players i would be able to handle whit rest of my server RAM. and I remember someone who talked about giving some amount of RAM to each person where this could be edited or is there a plugin for that thanks for reading. because my players are currently eating a crap ton of ram when they are exploring
