I have been waiting for some of my favorite mods to update to 1.6.1 before actually updating my Minecraft, but I have seen that many sites claim to have the mod for 1.6.1, while only showing download links for f. e. 1.5.2. For example I searched for OptiFine 1.6.1 for around half an hour, but all I found was download links for previous versions, one was so messed up, it directed me through 5 different sites to finally come to the OptiFine official site. Only links in there were 1.5.2 and older. So I must ask from the community, do we really want this? Do we want a truckload of links and lies just to get old versions? Leave a reply please, that's all I'm asking.

Moochers. Female dogs. Truck drivers. They just repost mods and texpacks and advertise them as new, as well as adfly and etc links to get cash.
Minecraftdl would have to be one of these sites. I think they have some sort of tag called $minecraftversion on EVERY SINGLE MOD PAGE. I think I even saw Aether 1.6.1 -.-

They just want views of people by posting that they have an updated version of said mod. Just be patient and wait for the mod to update.
*Sigh* I think this is just outrageous...
