Remove player data before uploading project

I'm looking to upload a new project, a server I've had for a while, but I'd like to remove player data before I upload it. What files or folder should I delete or edit to remove player data without messing up the saved world?

This is a vanilla 1.7.9 (although started in 1.6, if that matters)
