I am playing on one of those servers with a custom scoreboard to show your current money/rank etc.
I absolutely hate these things but I love the server!
Is there any way I can get rid of it without asking the owner to set something up like a toggle?

yep only one way, ask server owner
There is only one way I guess....Just ask the Owner to disable the Scoreboard I guess
