Removing Illager Bannerslive_help

Hello,
I am currently developing a Minecraft adventure map and seek to remove Illager Banners (the ones perched above their heads). More specifically I need them removed from Vindicators, as I've taken use to them in the map. It seems to be uncommon for a banner to spawn, but it still happens nevertheless. I've cleared the loot table, so they shouldn't drop when killed, but that doesn't appear to solve the problem of them spawning, which I assume works in the same fashion as mounted armour stands. All help will be appreciated as I have no clue how to go about this!

EDIT: It appears the drop for Ominous Banners aren't in the loot table as I had assumed and continue to be dropped.
