I need help.
i’m trying to create a custom texture pack but when I rename the items it won’t let me. Any other name and it will work. My custom name and it blocks it. Please help. I have custom items turned on. I have it in the right language. And i made it correctly. Please help.

What are you trying to do?
Best guess is something like a custom look/model/texture for a sword when a normal sword is given a special name. (Or something similar sword is just an example.)
Somethinhg you might try is to search the Texturing & Rendering subfora for submissions that do something similar and studying how they work; both in terms of how the folders are organized and the formating of any json files.

Texture pack is only textures, resources allow more like sound, model etc.
