So, hello fellow minecraftians. Or whatever you prefer to be referenced by. So, recently (it's been going on for about 6 days), I've been trying to get a few texturepacks (my custom and DokuCraft-they're different resolutions so I know that's not the problem), and I install them correctly into the folder with MCpatcher. But they don't show up in the Pack menu. Has anyone else had this issue, and is there anything I can try?

Okay, so apparently the issue was the mcmeta file being .txt instead of all files, but it still isn't working. Can I give it to one of you guys to test?

I have the mcmeta file, but I'll try it.

(0_0 Ignore me if you've tried this) Drag a zipped texture pack. (Only some texture packs are zipped so not all will work.) Drag it into the Available Resource Pack area. It probably won't appear so restart the Minecraft Software.

Also make sure the package is on your desktop before dragging it
Hope this works!

P.S I had the same problem and this worked!

Do you have the pack.mcmeta file? If not thats your problem.

I'll give that a shot. Any idea where to get that?

Maybe if you download a default minecraft texture pack zipped you could copy and paste your files to the default pack and see if that lets it come up.
