Resource Pack Problems!!
Soooo I am working on a texture Resource pack
and I got most of the blocks done and wanted to see how it looked but when I loaded it up in my game all of the blocks where black and purple!
I haven't the faintest whats going on and I tried to google but to no avail.

Make sure your images are square. For example, 16x16. If you do something like 16x17 it's going to freak out because it's not equal and not an animation.
Hopefully that should work. I forgot to put this in the last post, but minecraft is also very picky about how the folders are organized. That could be another thing messing it up. To find out how everything should be set up, go to http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Resource_pack.
The purple/black block is displayed when minecraft can't find any textures for that block, even in the default textures. Normally, this should only happen with wrongly programmed mods, or if the names of the default textures are tampered with. Hope that helps!
Oh! that helps me see whats wrong but I don't remember tampering with the names at all... Do you think that if I get a different resource packs and saved my textures with their names that I could fix it? Q~Q
