For some reason, when I started up Minecraft, instead of the Flows HD main menu I usually see, it was default. I thought my brother had changed it, so I clicked "Resource packs," and there was nothing there except for default. I opened my resourcepacks folder, and the files were there, but it still wouldn't work. I tried deleting my 1.7.9 one (I was on 1.8) and, big surprise, it didn't work. I tried restarting my computer, with the restart button with the mouse, and physically turning it on and off. But, of course . . . It did not work. <- me
The resource pack I was using was Flows HD revival, and I'm running 1.8, so somebody please help me.

XYZDimensions I don't know how to redownload Minecraft, My friend did it for me the first time.
Well, I haven't seen this issue before, so Idk, try redownloading .minecraft ;o
Dr_Steve I dunno, just one day they all vanished from my available resource packs.
I believe I have only the original file. I also tried to redownload the file, that didn't work either.
Why is it not working?
