So I have been running minecraft 1.8-1.8.7, and at some point, this glitch began happening. When I right click, for any reason, it spazzes. If I am trying to place blocks, it will record 1-4 clicks. It usually works fine, as this is the least glitchy. Next up is the crafting bench or furnace, as often it will place 2-3 if I right click once. Using a bow and eating/drinking potions is nearly impossible, unless you happen to be the most patient person on earth. It glitches and restarts the animation, and the bow randomly fires, sometimes like a machine gun.

Use a different mouse to see if it's the mouse or java.
if it's the mouse, see about getting a new one or reinstalling the drivers
