Sure, it'd be very nice if the world was perfect enough that everyone will host servers for complete strangers, or that everyone gets famous off of youtube when they are like 10 and have a terrible microphone, but come on now, that isn't the world we live in.

Look...I'm not sure that you understand. Servers aren't free. The closest you can get to free is running your own server on a computer that someone gave you, but even then you pay for power, internet, etc. Hosting a server takes time and money...so unless you do it yourself, you will need to pay for it.
