What are you able to do for a server that's getting DDoS'd?
Plenty of things can be done. Packet redirection, transitional DNS, nameserver change, reverse engineering of the actual server itself to add a firewall rule against the incoming attacks (however useless if it's a botnet).
Most kids around the Minecraft community use booters, and they come from one, maybe 2-3 IP's at most. It's not hard to redirect these attacks and migrate them to a null part of a networking infrastructure.
