Server help?
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to set up a small server for just me and 2-3 friends (no plugins or anything)
but no matter what i try no one can connect to it but me. i've googled it, and checked the minecraft wiki but nothing seems to work. (sorry im really nooby at this)
any help is appreciated.

Your friends will need your external ip, found at a website such as http://whatsmyip.org/

Pay particular attention to the router and "what ip to use" sections.

Have you port forwarded and made exceptions for your firewall? What IP are you giving your friends?
oh i havnt port forwarded... im not really sure what that is (sorry like i said im a noob at this) but i have made the firewall exceptions.
im giving them the one under ethernet from when you type
ip config in command prompt. (192.168.2.5)
