So I'm trying to setup a private minecraft server for my friend and i to play on, but it keeps crashing.
I am using forge, but only mod is OptiFine.

Remove the OptiFine Mod from your server mods folder. The reason its crashing is because it is a client mod... not a server side mod.
OptiFine is not a server mod it will not work on a server
