Server Ideas

I have a server but I already remade my whole server twice because I thought the idea was boring.
I do NOT want a minecraft faction/towny/mcmmo/minigame server.
Been there, done that, too boring, and many other better servers.
I need your ideas!
I was thinking of a prison server but not a normal one. I was thinking of a themed one and I have the awesome idea in my head I just can't get it out of my head, and understand it completely.
Any ideas for a theme for a prison server?
Any other ideas at all?
By all means, if you are a coder/plugin developer, please do tell me because we can work together and an idea will come much easier about the server if the plugins are custom:)

KitPvP and Prison would attract a lot of people, from my past experience
