Server Not Letting Me On

All the time, I try to join my server, it says "Disconnected: Failed to Verify Username."
Anybody know why? If so, please tell me. Thank you and goodbye!

First, are you using a pirated verison of minecraft?
Second, have you converted to a Mojang account and didn't use it to long in?
