Herro, I run a server called WebCraft.
The person who runs my host is usually good at helping out from time to time and he
offered me a Developer to start work with getting the server started 2 weeks ago when
it was new.
Now that Dev has called a lot of issues, trying to delete and take it over.
But he sucked at that and it is fine now, he is banned.
There is a plugin that he had made for the server earlier, it was a Broadcaster plugin
that he had made me. I CANNOT DELETE THIS PLUGIN. I have been told that people
can hack through plugins. I know this Developer is very good at computers and I am
scared he will take it over. I have a player who said he may have "interfaced" it.
I really need help deleting this plugin entirely and quick.
Simply going into the 'plugins' file in Multicraft will not remove the plugin even after a restart. Please help ASAP.

Not really, no. You don't have a say in that because you don't know what happened or why he did that.

Well you need to reset the full server if that doesent work then your screwed
Or you need to buy a new host and ban the guy before he even can login
How can you not delete it? It can be another malicious plugin that is downloading it.
1) Shutdown your server
2) Delete everything that your "developer" made.
3) Look through your plugins for plugins you do not recognize, delete those also.
If you want you can just delete all your plugins and redownload them from BukkitDev (Make a list before!).
If you want to have a developer for your server, don't just get random people to make plugins for you, only "hire" those you trust. It's really easy to make malicious plugins, and backdoors could be made as well. If you don't have a developer that you trust, it's best if you just download plugins from BukkitDev.

The Dev I had was recommended through the person who hosts my server. Trust me when I say that the server host is not a scam or anything like that, he is trustworthy and smart. I don't know why he is team with this 16 year old 'Developer.' I know that another plugin is not downloading the broadcaster. I was there when he installed and made the plugin from me. I know to download from Bukkit only. When he was making the plugin I only thought what could possibly go wrong, and was unaware he can 'lock' it in like that. I've decided I don't need a 'dev' for my plugins as I am fully capable of managing them myself.

Also when I came home to the console I saw a new world called "SheildCraft" which is what he wanted his server to be called. Which is an indicator that he was in attempt to take it over even without console lol
