Server says 1.11 but i have 1.7

when i start the server localhost says it's 1.11 but my jar is 1.7. anyone know why this happened?

Is it self hosted server or from a company, if its from a company you probably have to change the jar in the config on there multicraft and if self hosted you downloaded the wrong Jar file.
Where did you get that jar? It must be a 1.11 even if where ever you downloaded it claims it's 1.7..
