Server security question!

Hello,

I'm making a Minecraft port-forwarded server today, and have a security question before I start it up. I already did the port-forwarding, and the server is ready to launch. However, I don't have 2 accounts and want to make a timelapse of myself and maybe 4 others building with me. I have one computer, so I'll be running 2 Minecrafts (One fake account, one real account.) and the server. Anyways, my question is if I turn off the Online-mode, but turn on the White-list for the .properties file and only allow my fake/real accounts and my friends, will my Minecraft server be safe from other hackers?

Thanks for reading!

Unless they hack into your computer, and change the whitelist, then yes they can get on. But this would be EXTREMELY unlikely.

That's BS anybody can come in through the port you opened you need to find a way to whitelist the port not the server
