Hi, im a noobie here so forgive me if this post is out of topic. But I wanted to see what everybody thinks. So on my computer, I have a copy of a vanilla server, Bukkit, Canary, and mcserver server mods. But whenever I run the server.exe file after it goes through the start-up process. it will start spamming the window with: Cant Keep Up: Did the system time change or is the server overloaded. About 1 every 3 or 4 seconds. The game plays fine but is VERY laggy due to this. I looked ALL over the internet and the only answers I found were:

1. Make sure your java is the latest version(mine is)
2. Make sure that you system time is connected to the network(it is)

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks,

-pennepasta

changing the default java run path

how do I do that?

Use google.

Make sure you download the 64bit version of java, and then you have to change the default path to run the 64bit version instead of the default 32bit version.

I had almost the same problem on my old computer. The reason for me whas I didint have enough ram. If it says in the beginning " Not enough ram" "Try to start with more" or something like that, then the problem is the ram.

server.exe??
Sounds like you are running the vanilla server executable. You should be using the run.bat to launch the server.jar google it or look up setting up a server on minecraftwiki.
