Server won't start

I bought a server to host from CloudFrost and the server won't start, whenever I try to start the server I get this:

28.11 14:00:12 [Multicraft] Received start command

However, I figured out the source of the problem, I just don't know how to fix it.
I believe my problem is that my server.properties file won't save whenever I try to edit it, it just keeps emptying itself, so no matter how many times I try to fix the problem, the program empties out the file so it contains nothing. Someone please help me, this is extremely frustrating.
