I'm looking for a server that some one will donate to ma for a project that i would like to do...
I've been trying to make my own server for the past week but was unsuccessful in the task, so if your kind enough you'll be able to donate a server that you created, I have no money, but I think it'll be worth while on the whole project, All I'm asking is for someone to donate a server that they've made so I can let people Into a world to begin my project....

You can open a port in your firewall so follow these steps

1. Click Start, and then click My Network Places.
2. Under Network Tasks, click View Network Connections. (Or, right-click My Network Places on the desktop, and then click Properties.)
3. Right-click the connection that you use for the Internet, and then click Properties.
4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings.

Note If the Settings button is unavailable, ICF is not enabled on this connection, and you do not have to open any ports (because they are all already open).
5. Click Add to open a new port.
6. In the Description box, type a friendly name. For example, type File Sharing : Port 445.
7. In the Name or IP address of the computer hosting this service on your network box, type 127.0.0.1.

Note You can specify the IP address of an internal computer. But you typically will use 127.0.0.1.
8. In the External port and Internal port boxes, type the port number. Generally, this number is the same.
9. Click either TCP or UDP, and then click OK.
10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 for each port that you want to open.

Go to Minecraft.net

Then move it into a folder

Then download bukkit's craftbukkit

rename it bukkit

THEN put it into a folder

THEN make a notepad file in the folder with this text:
@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar bukkit.jar
PAUSE

THEN save it as a .bat

THEN RUN IT

Sha bam. You got a Bukkit Server!

You would be better off hosting it off of your computer. 1 GB of RAM should be enough, plus an upload speed of about .7 to 1 is good enough to hold about 10 people with fairly minimal lag.

I cannot, I don't know how to make a server myself....

I've seen many tutorials on how to make a minecraft server but none are helpful...

Well, I haven't Thought of a reward, I have no money.. nor do I have any reward that I can give you... Full credit for hosting the server and you can most definitely help make the world

I don't know.. What where you expecting as a reward, maybe I can meet those terms...

also: Is the server lag free and can handle around 10+ players at one time? Because I would like to let people in the server for the project to build etc...

and as always...
Thank you for commenting and for your time!
