So, I'm thinking about developing my building skills a little (yeah, meet me - jack of all trades, master of none). And I want a shader pack to make them look a little snazzier when I move in to take screenshots.
Problem is, every single shader I can find uses the GLSL shader mod. That wouldn't be an issue except my computer is convinced that said mod is malware and it's preventing me from downloading it. I have forge, so that isn't a problem, but could someone recommend to me some decent shaders that don't need GLSL to work?

Thanks so much for the help, guys. I was finally able to convince my computer that several million people who use GLSL couldn't be wrong about its not-virus status. Now onward to shaders!
I believe shader support is added right in Optifine.... can you install that?
It's in one of the versions, I'd suggest doing that or just having Optifine and Shaders in Forge if you also wanted mods like better foliage.
There aren't any shaders that don't use GLSL because GLSL is a language and the mod just allows Minecraft to use it. If you found one, chances are they would be very laggy and have a low quality image.
If it's saying it's malware, you probably have malware on your computer. Or it's just saying that because the file extension is .jar, in that case click download anyway. Install Microsoft Security essentials, run it, do a scan and get rid of the problems it detects. Do the same with Malwarebytes.

oo Maybe um SEUS shaders
Those shaders are beautiful (I just looked them up) but it says on their forum page that they need GLSL as well.
Oh what a shame All of the shaders I've used use GLSL
