Single player help

Hey guys!
I made my single player world back in 1.2.5 or 1.3 somewhere around there. Any way, I was wondering if there was anyway to update my single player world to to lets say the new snapshot. Like, for example, if I was on the latest update, could I add quartz to my world or would I have to make a new one. The answer will probably be the second one but I am still checking.
Thanks

The latest version of MCEdit doesn't have quartz, I believe, so it probably wont work. I may be wrong, however, so it's worth a shot.

I think he means MCedit. I always wondered what that repop feature was for, that much better than having to go to "unexplored" areas. In MCedit, open a world, press the 9 key, select some chunks (there are tutorials on this) and then press repop. Thank you, and I hope this helped!

Thanks it does. How do you repp though in mcpatcher?

You can just update your client to the most recent snapshot and play... The new ores like netherquartz will only be in ares that you "Haven't" explored yet.

You can use MCpatcher to "RePop" your world and it will put ores into places where it belongs even areas you already mined.

I hope this helps
