Ok, so I recently bought a new PC with MineCraft already installed. I uploaded a new skin and it never shows. Alex does. If you know the solution or think you know it, please respond because I would be very grateful as this is so annoying.

The skin services are down thus you're not the only one having this problem, nor can you fix it until the service is up again.
ok do you know when they will be up again? If you dont know then thats fine.

Make Sure ur Posting your skin minecraft.net/profile/ as Steve. 
and Make it as Steveish not 1.3 if These options Have Been made Then its Something Else. or Try Senting a Email to Mojang Support or Twitter.

I have just tried changing my skin but sadly, it still won't work.
Maybe the skin your using is made for the Alex model instead of both the Steve and Alex
