I just upgraded my minecraft to that, and I join the signleplayer world and it starts the srver... but what how do I find out what IP I have to give to my friends so that they can play on the server as well?

You Need To Be On The Same "wifi" So U Can Play With Ur Fiends
I don't think you can invite people to your single player worlds yet. Also, from what I've heard, you can only invite people that are on the same network that you're on. Same idea as Pocket Edition.
I know what my IP is, but it does not help.
Go to run do ipconfig or google myip!
