So.. I want to create a hunger games map with some friends. Though how do I put it up for download if the map is on a server? I could put single player worlds up for download, how about server maps? :/

Yes. there is a way to do this. In your minecraft server location, you can find the worlds that your server is using for your maps. On a default server (If you don't make any new worlds), the will be called 'world', 'world_nether', and 'world_the_end'. These folders contain all the map data on your server for the specific worlds, and you can use these world folders as normal singleplayer map saves if that makes sense, so for example if you wanted to upload your nether world for singleplayer use, you would upload the world_nether folder.
