Ok now i have checked my internet and my connection is good and everything and i can even get online and when i open my minecraft it shows the news board and everything was good and then i clicked login. And all i get is cannot connect to minecraft. My username and password is right and when i click play offline all the servers are up and people are on them. So can anyone help me. PROBLEM: I cant login. Thanks to anyone that can help! -Zmann98

I've had this same problem for weeks now. I checked on Mojang support center that minecraft is working, and it is.
Also one of my friends has had this same problem for longer than me.

Alright. Thanks everyone. And it wouldnt let me log in on minecraft.net either so i thought i was hacked at first but i searched mojang and didnt see anything like that but thanks for the help and thanks brianblokster for telling me that its down. Helped a ton! -zmann98

Yes i agree. Please check a minecraft status checker to see if minecraft was down or is down.
Try logging in to minecraft.net with your regular login. If you can do this we can rule out that your password is wrong.

Maybe someone changed your password on you?
