I am making a minecraft adventure map but cannot seem to get the spawn right i want them to spawn in a room but i can't make that happen for some reason does anyone no how to set up a spawn with no mods if it is possible

I'm not sure if this applies to every map/world, but based off my recent Skyblock & 4 pillar survival playing, there's something like a 16x16 box that people can spawn in. If you can hook up some tripwire over that 16x16 area, connect it all to a command block that teleports you to the correct spawn area. It's pretty hard to explain, so I recommend you download Ant Farm Survival, put yourself into creative mode, fly out the top of the spawn area and you'll see how it all works. That map does it in the best way I've seen so far.
