I'm getting into adventure maps now in minecraft and have started the work to host them on a multiplayer server. One of my concerns is that when connecting it spawns me away from where it should spawn me if I start the adventure map in a single player session.
So overall, my question is how do I make people spawn in the correct location for an adventure map I want to host on a minecraft multiplayer server?

You have to setspawn where you want the players to spawn.
To do this, just type /setspawn where you want the spawn to be
(I think you need bukkit and the essentials plugin for that command)
