Spigot and McMyAdmin

Hi, i was on McMyAdmin and i clicked "spigot" it tried to start it i didnt work but when i set it to vanilla it started right up! is there a way to get around this?

you have to compile spigot jar and put it in the minecraft directory. Then start up server in spigot mode in McMyAdmin.
