Stop Spammer With Multiple Accounts & Proxy Ips??

so a spammer came on my server today and spammed it with his multiple accounts that who knows how much he payed for. i couldnt just ban his ip because he used a proxy ip or whatever, so they were all different. what i use to stop this is a plugin called stab that instantly bans a players username and ip when they say anything in chat. needless to say the whole thing ended in less than 2 minutes because DAMN this spammer had like 50 accounts or something. he even threatened to ddos which was funny because he would have fugged himself. yay GRE tunnels

If he's spamming the same thing, block one of the words in it (not something like 'the').
There's a plugin on bukkit that detects whether you are connecting with a proxy. If it detects you are, then you can auto ban, or auto kick them. It's very, very useful.
Anti-Spam, NCP, that should disable all them as they will get kicked for spam.
I had this issue a few days ago. I created a whitelist for around 12 hours. Afterwards it was all good
Create a whitelist and eventually they'll stop trying.
Just tell everyone to leave your server for about two weeks and the spammer will leave as soon as he knows you gave up and the server is inactive. Why would they want to spam an empty server?
