Every now and then when I play minecraft, the screen will start to flash and eventually all of the blocks turn solid white and the trees a solid green, the animals and other mobs/players remain the same though. I don't have any mods downloaded and I recently uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft. I have no idea what is going on, so if anybody could help me I would appreciate it very much! Thanks! Oh and I am current with 1.5.1

I am posting this because if I don't make a post every so often I can't log in, which is stupid because I still have posted skins, and I still have favorited Texture packs so I can get quick access to them, if you are an admin, or a mod, please just change this.
I don't have a texture pack, and i'm not sure what vsync is but I do have it on.
do you have VSYNC on?
