Recently,. i've found that I've been stuck at 60FPS for no apparent reason.
I checked my settings, then realised that I had my FPS turned down to VSYNC
I tried to fix it, by turning the slider up, but it's been stuck at VSYNC and it refuses to do anything else.
Even when I move the slider, the frames are still stuck at VSYNC
Please help

Turn V-Sync of in video settings if you haven't already.
Try Changing It in your options.txt file in your .minecraft folder
(Be very careful of what you change as it can break the game.)
Change The Maxfps: value 260 max

Alright so I went to my options.txt file to check what the problem was, the VSync option was on so I changed it from true to false.
Thank you so much for the help man, my fps is now out of VSync.
