I understand most of the /testforblock command. My only question is how do i get the test for to pick up a signal from an opened chest. Or maybe my question is what is the data value of an opened chest?
/testforblock <xyz> <id> <datavalue>

An opened chest is still the same block but you can use a trapped chest set it up like the picture and test for 94 where the repeater is.

wyattbergeron1brawley12SoraSatoshiI'm not sure how to use the /testforblock command but it should be possible to check if the furnace is in use by testing for block 62(burning furnace).
Alright thanks for the furnace part at least!
I think it is 62:1 for burning furnace... I may be wrong.
The data value is to set the direction of the furnace.
