Texture names different in resource packs
I Noticed (when trying to copy the files from my texture pack to a resource pack) that a lot of items/blocks have switched names (Such as glowstone dust changing from yellow_dust.png to glowstone_dust.png and cobblestone changing from stonebrick.png to cobblestone.png). This is really annoying, for even common blocks like wool, cobblestone, and planks have switched. Is there anyway for me to instantly fix this, or do I have to rename them all by hand? D:

When i used the converter it didnt convert every thing. Then when i saw gray wool it was spelt wrong and stuff like that. I really didnt like going through the whole thing finding all these things messed up.
i had alot of missing textures that the a converter said it would put in. so i recommend doing manually. convert it. then find the bugs. i had like 2 missing blocks so it wouldnt work. i just found those textures today. XD
I realized that the converted file didn't have a pack.mcmeta for some reason, so I put one and it appeared as a resource pack, but had the same problem. Like half of the blocks are default. -.-
I already used that, it made it not even appear in my resource packs section
Then I guess you need to do it manually or try another converter if there is one. I really don't like how 1.6 ruined many mods and texture packs
There is an online converter to convert your texture packs. Click on the link below and then click on the words "This Fancy Tool" to download the converter from Mojang.
