I've copied the orginal minecraft texture pack, and am making my own. I wanted to test it so far, so I put everything I copied into a compressed folder, and when I select my folder to use, it crashes my mine craft. it say "Minecraft has crashed...blahblahblah" But my other textures work fine, that I've downloaded into minecraft.

I figured it out, and I meant from the .jar file.
What exactly do you mean by original minecraft texture pack? PM me a download link to a copy of the texture pack and I might be able to help you.
