If you need to see the full pack file in order to help, the texture pack has been posted under the name "Atomic Tangerine" on this account.
So, I have NO IDEA why this is happening! Sharpness particles (the particles that appear when you hit an entity with an item that has the sharpness enchant) should be light orange/tangerine on my pack. For some unknown reason, however, these particles are being tinted blue regardless of how I edit the file or what the particles actually look like in the file! Crit particles work fine but sharpness particles get recolored for some reason. I have no idea what is causing this or how it is happening, but if you know a fix, please let me know! Attached are three screenshots; one showing the sharpness particles in-game, another showing the particles.png file in full, and the third highlighting which particle is the sharpness one.

Any help or reasons as to why this is happening is much appreciated! Thank you!

They are supposed to be tinted with hardcoded color
If you want them to be orange - use Optifine and custom colors feature,
here's documentation: github.com/sp614x//OptiFineDoc/color.properties
And here's particles id's: minecraft.gamepedia.com/Particles

no, I already use optifine but I want the pack's particles to be orange without optifine being necessary
There's no other way
the particles file allows me to change literally every other particle to look like whatever I want; why would it not work for just this one particle which isn't even blue in vanilla textures?
It's white for a reason - game tints this particle with specific color
Other white particles like end rod particles are white in-game becouse they are not tinted and color can be modified with the texture

why only this particle? that kind of sucks for trying to have a colored texture pack with agreeing particles
