Every time I update minecraft (just now i updated from 1.4.5 to 1.4.7) my DEFAULT texture pack--the one that COMES with minecraft--doesn't update! It would still stay on the previous version and i won't be able to see the new items! I am therefore forced to get a different texture pack that is not the original...the new t.p. is nice, but i prefer the default one...Please help...thanks

so its the real default one? the first one, just making sure you dont have any texture pack that says its default but, its like a remake. Also to fix it you should try to open your minecraft go to options in the LAUNCHER and it "force update" that should reinstall minecraft, but dont worry you dont lose your saves or texturepacks or even achievements when you do that.
