Texture pack wont be recognized

I have a lot of texture packs and Minecraft recognized all of them until today. Now Minecraft wont recognize any new texture packs I put in the folder. Please help!

Edit: This is the day after I uploaded this thread. The problem seems to be fixed. Minecraft recognized the texture packs so I think a restart was enough to fix the issue.

You could have deleted the files or something. Make sure you are putting your packs into your "resourcepacks" folder. Sometimes I get confushed and leave out the s, so that could be the problem?
Make sure you're running the game in the same directory as your resourcepacks.
try unzipping them ,and if they are unzipped then zip them
