Yea i just found that out myself by checking file-stations or whatyoucallem.. didnt seem right for the pack to only fill 1 kb
Lol well I hope I helped in some way. Happy gaming!
Yep, I missed something. After Texture Ender is finished converting the pack, go back into your Texture Packs folder. There should now be the original TP, and one with the same name that says:
(whatever the tp's name is here) - Converted - 1375249098543
Copy that and paste it into the resource packs folder, and then it will work

Lemme go check myself, I might have missed a step. All of the above was from memory
Ok so i did all tht and opened minecraft, but its not there..theres the resource pack thing but theres nothing in there..
Actually, if you do that, you're just gonna bork up your TP.
•First, visit this link:
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Resource_pack
•Then, click on the link that says "Texture Ender". Download that.
•Once you've downloaded it, put it in an easily accessible place (I have mine on my desktop), right click on it, and find where it says "Open with..."
•Click on "Open with Java SE Binary" (I think that's what it is. Just look for something saying Java). If you don't do this, it will open the file with 7Zip or Winrar, if you have one of those. And you don't want that.
•Once that opens up, it will ask you which texture packs you want to convert. Just find the folder in your .minecraft labeled "Texture Packs", NOT "Resource Packs". Select all of the TP's you want converted, and press okay.
•Let Texture Ender do it's magic, and once it's done, Voila, you have resource packs!

Well people actually say that you have to take all of the folders out and out into its own folder and not a ZIP, so to try this, right click on the texture pack (WHEN ITS IN RESOURCEPACK FOLDER) and select -Extract to NAME\. When it is done restart your game and see if it works.
..Any...more detailed guides?..i know what patcher is and i have it..but..i have absolutely no idea what to do then..
update it to a resource pack, then drag n drop.
Adding on to this, you can update it to a resource pack by using Texture Ender, and possibly MCPatcher.
