hi! i've played minecraft for just over 3 years now. a couple months back i uninstalled it with no intention on playing it again. however, i got an urge to redownload it and it's been giving me quite a hard time.
every time i launch it, it takes me back to the launcher and says; http://prntscr.com/m6defw
"The driver does not appear to support OpenGL"
i just assumed that i uninstalled it incorrectly. i've looked up how to fix it and ive watched tutorials but nothing really helped or even changed anything.
i'd appreciate any feedback i could get! im genuinely clueless so bare with me lol
no worries if nobody can figure it out~~

What pc do you use for Minecraft?
1
a Lenovo g50-80 laptop

Lenovo G50-80 has Intel iris Graphics 6100, drivers should be here
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/86209/Intel-Iris-Graphics-6100
make sure you download the sort depending on your operating system, 64 bit if a 64 bit os, 32 bit of 32 bit os
check before installing what i posted, run a dxdiag and check that it says so under "display 1) (windows key+r then type in dxdiag)
if its something else thats not intel iris graphics, tell uswhat it says and i'll see if i can find um
