Help! I downloaded the latest version of minecraft forge and when I click on the play button it loads then crashed and says The game crashed whilst initializing game

Error: java.lang.VerifyError: Inconsistent stackmap frames at branch target 13. It also says I'm using an unsupported modified version of the game.. I have no clue how to go about fixing this I deleted forge and re downloaded it but it still didn't work :(

It's probably crashing because it's refusing to launch the version of forge you're using. Try looking for a different version, maybe an up to date one?
