Ok I've been having issues. Ever since I finally got WinZip I've wanted to download mods, but my minecraft file (It's minecraft.jar but it's just titled minecraft, the file I've been told over 100 times to put the mods in) is corrupted. My friend told me it was from an update a while back, and that it screws it up. If you could help me, that'd be great.
ALSO I've been crashing alot but the latest crash report is from like 2 weeks ago. I hate getting technical, and all this is to me is gibberish, so if you could help me with this here's the crash report, I can still get on but I crash frequently, and it crashed today twice but no crash report.

Do not panic this is easy to fix
You have to refreash all your minecraft stuff so you have to delete al the stuff in the minecraft folder then login to minecrfat to redownlaod all the stuff..Also, downloading mods the advanced way is the best way..If the mod crashes you again then don't bother trying because it screws up your computerAlso, that some mods have hacks in it in order to hack you.
Thank you,

Answer To Mod Problem
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Open Minecraft (Don't Login)
2. Click The Options Button (Right About Login)
3. Click Force Update
4. Click Done
5. Login
6. Your minecraft.jar is now clean
You didn't lose any texture packs or worlds, don't worry
PS: Your Minecraft Might be crashing maybe because of the following list.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Not Enough RAM
2. Older PC
3. Virus
Hope This Helps
