So i was playing on a creative server building my build then i thought someone wanted to tpa to me, but i didn't realized that i would tpa to him, anyways i accepted it and then i tpad to him/her and then i lost connection! and now i can't join that server
here's what's written on the lost connection thing:
Internal Exception: io.nettyhandler.codec.DecoderException:
java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: readerIndex(9) + length(1)
exceeds writerIndex(9): UnpooledHeapByteBuf(ridx: 9, widx: 9, cap: 9)

I'm not sure that i'm allowed to say the name of the server, though if i'm allowed to and u need to know it please inform me.
please help me solve this i really like that server

You didn't get hacked your game just crashed from an unloaded chunk or a buggy area.

I should write that at the end of everything I write on the forums. Seems like what you have to do these days...

I agree with Azrath. solution is to either use the hacked client (Wolfram - TEMPORARY SOLUTION), or wait till the owner updates the server to the latest version (which fixes these signs - PERMANENT SOLUTION).

He placed a sign with hacked client that crashes server, now don't ask me how that works and only way to join is to install a hacked client and go away from there, there was a threads about this before and only people with that hacked client can be near it, others thou will get that error.

That usually means your internet messed up and lagged out. At least from my experience.

Contact the server owner, it might be because the chunk got corrupted when he teleported to you.

You were most certainly not hacked. Likely, your computer couldn't take the heat, so it left the kitchen.

I don't think that it is figuratively, physically, logically, perspectively possible to be "hacked" by an in-game command.
