Hi!
I am playing on the Laws of Minecraft Server and I have now discovered trading with villagers to be my skill. I had cured a zombie villager first, but that one has been killed by zombies. Then I cured another one, but that one was blown up by a creeper. Well now I don't have much gold anymore so I can't craft that many golden apples.
I have now found a village after a 2000km journey. The thing is... How can I bring them to my home? Minecarts are not an option... I don't have enough tracks or the resources to craft them. Water tunnels as well, before having made half the journey, I would have reached bedrock three times. I tried building these one-door-and-one-block-houses to make them move, but this is dead slow. Before I could reach my home, it would take me several (real-life)days.

So how can I transport villagers over a distance of 2000 blocks wihtout many resources and in a reasonable time?

If you are using 1.8, make one of those flying machines.
If you are using 1.7, make one of these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1l51ylZ ... e=youtu.be

The simplest suggestion I could think is to get the villager into a mine cart and get it to the destination you need with rails...
I don't know if there's any way to do it other than that, as of now.
