Trouble connecting to PMC official server.

Hey guys, I have had some trouble connecting to the PlanetMinecraft Official server. I am level 10, I have checked the whitelist box, I have the correct IP, and my MC username is the same name here. I don't know what the problem is!
All it says is 'Failed to connect to server' and 'Please see PMC for instructions on joining this server.

If you have reached level 10 already, or have more than 200 forum posts, go to My Account, in the Edit Profile area. Once you are there, you will find further instructions on requesting access to the server.

I've done all of that. It just won't let me connect for some reason.
