Trouble with mods.
I have installed Justenoughitems correctly, renamed the 1.11 file to 1.11mod and everything else in there to 1.11mod and I also deleted META-inf and put the mod files into the jar file, but whenever I click play it says downloading 1.11mod then finishes but doesn't start the game.
The only thing I can speculate from the Launcher Log is that the Launcher is trying to Download 1.11mod from this place https://launcher.mojang.com/mc/game/1.11Mod/client/
All I can think of is that you need to stop minecraft from trying to download the folder.

in a way its easyer and less hassle if a mod has updated or something of the like
Thanks for the reply's, I honestly didn't think they would make the old method of modding obsolete thanks though.
You're using the old way of installing mods, by modifying the jar file directly. This methods doesn't work anymore.
You need to use Forge.

from what im seeing, you havnt installed forge and your trying to install a forge mod strait into the minecraft jar, if thats how your doing it no wonder it isnt working
any way make sure you have forge installed then just put the mods into the mods folder that it auto generates
